This year, the Scout Fuller Fund is pleased to grant Summer Service Awards to three outstanding students at Manchester University.
Carissa Arnett will work with an organization focusing on drug policy reform or harm reduction. Katie Jo Breidenbach has accepted an internship working with the Director of Immigration Reform at the Intercommunity Center for Peace and Justice in Cincinnati, Ohio. Michael Himlie will be conducting a Biking for Peace tour of the country to raise awareness of and funds for the Christian Peacemaker Teams, an organization that sends volunteers into high-conflict areas of the world to support local peacemakers. He will be biking 100 miles a day for 50 consecutive days in all 50 states. |
